Lauren B. Goldie, C.P.N.P.
Lauren Byrne Goldie is a board certified pediatric nurse practitioner; she is nationally recognized by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB), in conjunction with licensure from the State of Michigan. This year, Lauren completed her pediatric nurse practitioner studies at Wayne State University and spent more than sixty percent of her clinical training under the direct supervision of Dr. Fawaz Haddad within the Grand Blanc Pediatrics office. Previously, she was a registered nurse, specializing in pediatrics. She completed her nursing education at the University of Michigan–Flint in 1999. Lauren is well educated in the field of pediatrics as a result of over ten years of experience as a registered nurse, along with over five years of experience in nursing education. Lauren has taught pediatric nursing clinicals locally for the University of Michigan-Flint and Baker College of Flint at Hurley Medical Center.
Lauren is thrilled to be joining Grand Blanc Pediatrics; first, because she wants to demonstrate her ability as a nurse practitioner, and secondly, she believes in the mission of Dr. Haddad and Grand Blanc Pediatrics, along with the kind of care and the patience he demonstrates towards his patients. In addition to being a certified pediatric nurse practitioner, Lauren also has other qualities she will bring to the practice. First and foremost, she is a woman and a mother. Lauren can empathize with parents because she is a mother of three young children. “I understand the feelings of new mothers and the questions or concerns they may have regarding their baby, along with the transition of their own body after childbirth.” Furthermore, Lauren understands how some teenage girls may feel uncomfortable being examined by a male. She wants to enhance Grand Blanc Pediatrics by giving parents and specifically adolescent girls, the option of having a female practitioner. "It will be my honor to care for the children and families at Grand Blanc Pediatrics.” Lauren is married to her husband, Ron, with whom she has three children, Cameron, Jack, and Quinn. She resides in Grand Blanc, only three miles away from the office. She is overjoyed to be joining the staff at Grand Blanc Pediatrics and collaborating with Dr. Fawaz Haddad.
